This position is responsible for The Continuous Improvement Project Coordinator will focus on optimizing the performance of the organization by initiating changes that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve on-time delivery, and drive business growth.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with the company’s strategic goals

Analyzing and understanding processes in various departments, identifying areas of waste or inefficiency

Developing and executing improvement strategies, including change management activities

Leading and facilitating cross-functional continuous improvement project teams

Conducting continuous improvement training and workshops for staff at all levels

Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and making necessary adjustments

Using a range of tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Gemba Walks, 5S, or Kaizen to drive process improvements

Maintaining reports of continuous improvement activities

Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement within the organization

Working closely with other managers and stakeholders to ensure that changes are implemented smoothly and efficiently

Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Requirements:
-
Lean/Six Sigma certification from an accredited institution.

BA/BS degree in either Industrial / Manufacturing or Quality Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar focus of study with a minimum of 3 years of prior Continuous Improvement experience.

A minimum of 7 years of prior Continuous Improvement experience in lieu of degree

Significant experience facilitating Kaizen and/or rapid improvement events, in both manufacturing and office environments

Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, proficient with using the internet.

Strong communication and people management skills.

Problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Ability to work effectively with other departments.

Knowledge of relevant assembly techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Previous experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabrication and/or assembly, or electronics manufacturing is preferred.

Working knowledge of IPC-600, IPC-610, and IPC J-STD-001 is preferred.
