Contract Administrator

A construction contracting company based in Dubai is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support major building and high-rise projects in Dubai. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and focuses on subcontract administration and contractual compliance under FIDIC-based main contracts.

While the role is positioned at a senior level, candidates with slightly less experience who demonstrate strong technical capability and growth potential will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and administer subcontract agreements aligned with the Main Contract
  • Ensure flow-down of contractual obligations, including scope, insurances, warranties, and dispute provisions
  • Administer FIDIC-based contracts (Red Book)
  • Prepare and issue contractual notices, variations, and EOT-related correspondence
  • Support subcontractor management, claims, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and registers
  • Provide contractual support to project and commercial teams

Requirements

  • Experience in contracts administration within construction contracting
  • 7-10 years experience with contractors
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC Red Book (1987, 1999, 2017)
  • FIDIC accreditation
  • Engineering or construction-related degree preferred
  • Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
