A construction contracting company based in Dubai is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support major building and high-rise projects in Dubai. The role reports to the Contracts Manager and focuses on subcontract administration and contractual compliance under FIDIC-based main contracts.
While the role is positioned at a senior level, candidates with slightly less experience who demonstrate strong technical capability and growth potential will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer subcontract agreements aligned with the Main Contract
- Ensure flow-down of contractual obligations, including scope, insurances, warranties, and dispute provisions
- Administer FIDIC-based contracts (Red Book)
- Prepare and issue contractual notices, variations, and EOT-related correspondence
- Support subcontractor management, claims, and dispute resolution
- Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and registers
- Provide contractual support to project and commercial teams
Requirements
- Experience in contracts administration within construction contracting
- 7-10 years experience with contractors
- Working knowledge of FIDIC Red Book (1987, 1999, 2017)
- FIDIC accreditation
- Engineering or construction-related degree preferred
- Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
