A Contract Administrator manages the entire lifecycle of contracts—drafting, negotiating, executing, and renewing agreements while ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risk. They act as the primary liaison between internal departments (legal, finance) and external vendors/clients, maintaining meticulous records and monitoring performance.
The key responsibilities of the Contract Administrator would include:
· Preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts and subcontracts
· Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions
· Coordinating with project managers, consultants, and clients regarding contractual issues
· Monitoring project documentation and maintaining proper records
· Assisting in dispute resolution and risk management
· Supporting tendering and procurement processes
