Position SummaryThe Estimation &amp; Quantity Surveyor Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take‑offs, and pricing for civil construction projects. The role includes evaluating tender documents, preparing BOQs, supporting procurement, and performing post‑contract quantity surveying tasks. The candidate must have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of civil construction practices, and hands‑on experience in both estimation and QS functions.Key Responsibilities1. Pre‑Contract Estimation<ul><li>Analyze tender documents including drawings, specifications, and project requirements.</li><li>Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs for all civil works (earthworks, concrete, steel, finishing, infrastructure, etc.).</li><li>Prepare BOQs according to project specifications and standards.</li><li>Evaluate construction methods and propose cost‑effective alternatives.</li></ul>2. Costing &amp; Pricing<ul><li>Prepare cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.</li><li>Develop pricing sheets and ensure competitive and accurate tender submissions.</li><li>Analyze project risks and include provisions in estimates.</li><li>Coordinate with procurement for obtaining quotations and market pricing.</li></ul>3. Tendering &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare tender clarifications and technical queries for consultants/clients.</li><li>Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.</li><li>Attend pre‑bid meetings and site visits when required.</li></ul>4. Post‑Contract Quantity Surveying<ul><li>Perform site measurements and verify quantities against approved drawings.</li><li>Prepare cost breakdowns, interim payment applications, and variation orders.</li><li>Review subcontractor invoices and validate quantities.</li><li>Maintain quantity logs, cost tracking sheets, and commercial reports.</li></ul>5. Contract &amp; Commercial Support<ul><li>Assist in contractual review and ensure compliance with tender and contract terms.</li><li>Support claims preparation including EoT and cost impacts.</li><li>Prepare final accounts and close‑out documentation.</li></ul>6. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Work closely with engineering, planning, procurement, and site teams.</li><li>Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for quantity and commercial matters.</li><li>Participate in project meetings and provide cost‑related updates.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.</li><li>Minimum 7 years of experience in estimation and quantity surveying for civil construction projects.</li><li>Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and market prices.</li><li>Proficient in QS/estimating software (e.g., CostX, Candy/CCS, AutoCAD for measurement).</li><li>Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract standards is an advantage.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong analytical and numerical skills.</li><li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and cost awareness.</li><li>Ability to interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications.</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation abilities.</li><li>Excellent MS Excel and document preparation skills.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From AED10,000.00 per month

ESTIMATION AND QS ENGINEER

Position SummaryThe Architectural BIM Modeler is responsible for creating, developing, and managing 3D architectural models and detailed drawings using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. The role supports architectural design development, coordination with other disciplines, and preparation of shop drawings in compliance with project requirements. The candidate must have experience in civil construction projects and a strong understanding of architectural detailing, building elements, and coordination workflows.Key Responsibilities1. Architectural BIM Modeling<ul><li>Develop high‑quality 3D BIM models for architectural components including walls, floors, ceilings, fa&ccedil;ades, doors/windows, finishes, and external works.</li><li>Create detailed sections, elevations, and schedules derived from the BIM model.</li><li>Ensure models meet project LOD (Level of Development) and BIM Execution Plan standards.</li></ul>2. Shop Drawings &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare architectural shop drawings, layouts, and detailed construction drawings.</li><li>Update drawings based on revisions, RFIs, design changes, and consultant comments.</li><li>Maintain all BIM files, drawing logs, and documentation systematically.</li></ul>3. Coordination<ul><li>Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to resolve clashes and inconsistencies.</li><li>Participate in coordination meetings and update models accordingly.</li><li>Detect and report clashes using tools like Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar platforms.</li></ul>4. Quality Control<ul><li>Review BIM models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with architectural standards.</li><li>Ensure all details follow approved specifications, codes, and project requirements.</li><li>Carry out QA/QC checks for architectural drawings before submission.</li></ul>5. Support &amp; Collaboration<ul><li>Work with architects and design engineers to understand design intent and convert it into accurate models.</li><li>Support site teams by providing additional details, sections, and clarifications when needed.</li><li>Assist in BIM visualization, rendering, and walkthroughs when required.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting Technology.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural BIM Modeler in civil construction projects.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture) and AutoCAD.</li><li>Experience with BIM platforms such as Navisworks, BIM 360, or similar.</li><li>Good understanding of architectural codes, detailing standards, and construction methods.</li><li>Experience in buildings, infrastructure, and large‑scale civil construction projects is preferred.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and building components.</li><li>Excellent modeling and drafting skills with high attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills.</li><li>Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From AED6,000.00 per month
