Contract Administrator

As a Contract Administrator, you are responsible for managing construction-related damage claims and supporting the resolution process from start to finish. This position serves as a key liaison between contractors, customers, commercial businesses, field operations teams, and internal departments, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and successful claim closure. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, written communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Drafting and issuing formal notifications to contractors regarding pending claims
  • Track the status (Open/Closed) of all assigned construction and field ops claims
  • Draft release documents necessary for closeout of claims
  • Work with Accounts Payable to ensure information for claim invoices is correct and paid timely
  • Communicating directly with contractors, field personnel, commercial businesses and residents to resolve damage claims in an expeditious manner
  • Complete and submit required reports which include, but are not limited to claims in process, retainage held, and notifications submitted
  • Assist in the development of process workflows and associated procedures pertaining to claims management
  • Assist in preparation of required reporting and presentations as assigned
  • Travel to EVV twice a year
  • All other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced Excel skills are a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills; strong writing skills are a must
  • Effective team collaborating skills
  • Ability to work multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Intermediate math skills; common fractions, decimals, computing rate, percent
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, customers, co-workers, and public
  • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
