Responsibilities/Job Description:
The Contract Analyst is responsible for planning and execution of daily, weekly, and contract / project timeline dependent responsibilities. The position is largely autonomous in day-to-day activities and responsibilities. Under the direction and leadership of the Contracting Director, the Contract Analyst is responsible for facilitating and managing numerous types of agreements, contracts-related projects and contract work for Pharmacy Services and Shared Clinical Services.
Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret contracts, and partner with stakeholders to drive issues to closure

Responsible for drafting, negotiating, and finalizing complex terms and conditions and agreements as needed and delegated by internal stakeholders, and as directed by leadership and/or senior team members

Assist stakeholders with contract analysis, which may include training customers and stakeholders as needed.

Works with legal, leadership and stakeholders as necessary to develop recommendations related to agreements. Often acts autonomously in making recommendations to stakeholders.

Foster a proactive atmosphere and assist in Shared Clinical Service Leadership portfolio management, by ensuring regular communication with departments and stakeholders regarding status of agreements.

Foster continuous improvement by supporting departmental priorities and process improvement projects as needed. Assist in implementing and maintaining key departmental process improvements.

Maintain tracked milestones and keep data up to date in primary contract management system. Provide system support to stakeholders.

Actively partner with other team members and leadership on contract related process improvements. May delegate work and projects to support staff with leadership guidance.

Lead some departmental initiatives and projects as determined by leadership.

Be an advisor to the Contracting Director and other team members for Shared Clinical Services.

Will develop knowledge and expertise in areas or businesses supported by the department, to be determined by the successful candidate and leadership.

Required Qualifications

B.S./B.A.
-
3 years of related work experience or
-
2 years of contract experience (J.D. from accredited law school will satisfy the contracts experience requirement)

Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills.

Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills are helpful.

Good understanding of financial statements and legal contracts.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Juris Doctorate or advanced degree in business or healthcare related field

3 years work in contracting in healthcare, pharma, or med device experience.

Experience with contract management software and databases.

Experience in Legal/regulatory, compliance, or healthcare contracting field.

Professional certifications applicable to job experience
Qualifications:
$72,550.40- $102,440.00 Annual
