Contract Attorney - Corporate

Our client, a well-regarded firm in Midtown, is seeking a Temporary Corporate Attorney with a strong M&A or Securities/Capital Markets Corporate law expertise. Applicants need to be admitted to the bar in New York and have at least 4 years of corporate transactional experience working at a big or mid-sized law firm.

The position shall commence around the week of October 20th.

• Pay $125-175/hour depending on experience.
  
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Organizing, summarizing and analyzing diligence
• Support M&A, corporate securities and capital markets
• Conduct legal research
• Provide business oriented legal advice based on research
• Assist with corporate filings, compliance programs and document management.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least 4 years of corporate transactional experience at large or mid-sized law firm
• Must be New York barred
• Must be flexible to work on a hybrid basis (2-3 days in office)
• Strong understanding of mergers & acquisitions, corporate transactions and/or securities and capital markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
