Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Contract Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, and family law. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Contract Attorney will work on a project basis, providing legal support and expertise to our clients while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance in areas such as estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law & regulations.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
  • Represent clients in litigation matters when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and client communications within the law office.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure comprehensive legal support for clients.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Contract law, fee, disputes, arbitration, proceedings, estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, or tribal regulations.
  • Strong writing skills with a focus on legal drafting and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective legal research and analysis.
  • Prior experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not required. We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about providing exceptional legal services to apply for this opportunity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $93,454.00 - $112,546.75 per year

  • Litigation: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
