Contract Commercial Executive

Position : Contract - Commercial Executive

Job Overview:

Experienced in UAE legal and construction frameworks, with strong expertise in FIDIC-based contract management, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. Skilled in drafting and reviewing commercial and construction contracts, NDAs, consultancy and service agreements, legal notices, and EOT claims.

Key Responsibilities

· Conducted comprehensive legal research on UAE Laws, Data Compliance, Arbitration, and Corporate Tax, demonstrating strong capability in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

· Reviewed and administered construction contracts based on FIDIC standards, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.

· Drafted, reviewed, and negotiated a wide range of legal documents including Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs), Consultancy Agreements, Service Agreements, Recruitment Agreements, and Legal Notices.

· Supported the COO/CEO/PD in managing litigation matters, corporate actions, renewals, and amendments, ensuring timely and compliant execution.

· Assisted in the preparation of Statements of Claim and Defence submissions to facilitate effective dispute resolution mechanisms.

· Contributed to the preparation and review of Extension of Time (EOT) claims, analyzing project delays and contractual entitlements.

· Managed end-to-end contract documentation lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, amending, and organizing commercial and construction contracts.

· Facilitated contract amendments and variations, ensuring alignment with project objectives and legal requirements.

· Administered project correspondence, including issuing delay notices and maintaining accurate contractual communications.

· Ensured compliance with contractual obligations, proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.

· Monitored contract-related costs, variations, and budget elements in coordination with finance and project teams.

· Maintained structured and up-to-date contract records, ensuring accessibility and audit readiness.

· Served as a key liaison between legal, procurement, HR, finance, project managers, contractors, and clients on contractual and legal matters.

· Prepared detailed reports on contract performance, compliance status, and risk exposure for senior management.

· Collaborated cross-functionally to ensure seamless contract execution and maintain strong stakeholder relationship

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
  • Minimum 6-8yrs+ years of relevant experience in construction projects.
