Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including procurement agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements to ensure clarity and legal soundness
  • Manage contract documentation using document management systems such as Salesforce, DocuSign, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms to maintain accuracy and accessibility
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations like the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law while aligning contracts with organizational policies
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to facilitate purchasing processes and vendor onboarding while maintaining strong vendor management practices
  • Conduct thorough contract reviews for legal terms, pricing structures, intellectual property rights, and change management provisions
  • Support business development initiatives by preparing proposals, strategic planning documents, and technical writing for contract negotiations
  • Maintain meticulous records of all contractual documents and manage contract lifecycle activities from initiation through renewal or termination

Skills

  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation with a focus on compliance management and legal drafting
  • Strong understanding of contract law including UCC law, intellectual property law, and federal acquisition regulations
  • Expertise in document review, records management, and document management systems such as Salesforce or PeopleSoft
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic planning abilities to optimize contractual terms and pricing strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Proficiency in technical writing, proposal development, and using digital signature tools like DocuSign for efficient contract execution
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and change management processes to support business operations effectively
