POSITION OVERVIEW

Gallopade is seeking a contract eLearning Designer with strong experience in Articulate Storyline to help create engaging, interactive digital learning experiences for K–8 educational products. This role will support the design, development, and refinement of eLearning lessons that are age-appropriate, visually appealing, instructionally sound, and aligned with Gallopade’s content and brand standards. The ideal candidate has experience building interactive lessons in Articulate Storyline, understands how to design for children and student audiences, and can collaborate effectively with curriculum, editorial, design, and digital product teams. Experience in educational publishing, K–8 learning products, or children’s media is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design interactive eLearning lessons using Articulate Storyline following editorial team created scripts
• Translate curriculum content, scripts, storyboards, and instructional concepts into engaging digital learning experiences
• Create age-appropriate interactions, activities, knowledge checks, animations, and learner feedback
• Ensure lessons are visually appealing, accessible, and aligned with Gallopade’s brand and product standards
• Collaborate with curriculum, editorial, creative, and digital product teams throughout the development process
• Revise and refine eLearning modules based on internal feedback, QA review, and stakeholder input
• Maintain consistency across lessons, units, and product lines
• Support quality assurance by testing functionality, navigation, interactions, audio, timing, and user experience including integrating AI voice-over

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong experience designing and developing eLearning modules in Articulate Storyline
• Strong portfolio showing interactive learning examples, preferably for children, education, or K–8 audiences
• Experience with educational content, curriculum-based products, children’s media, or educational publishing preferred
• Ability to create engaging learner interactions, feedback, and assessments in Storyline
• Ability to create short, small animations and motion graphics for Storyline lessons based on existing art style and design
• Comfortable working from scripts, storyboards, curriculum materials, and brand guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage feedback and revisions efficiently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work on a contract basis and meet agreed project timelines

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Five years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or graphic design
