Contract Manager

General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of the contract award process.
  • Development of contract documents, including tender documents.
  • Management of the Owner approval process.
  • Monitoring contract correspondence.
  • Management of claims avoidance activities.
  • Coordination of contract execution.
  • Maintenance of contract documents.
  • Processing of contractor documents.
  • Schedule administration.
  • Administration of changes.
  • Risk management administration.
  • Assistance to the Project Controls Manager for project reporting requirements.
  • Ensuring effective operation of the Project Execution Plan.
  • Adherence to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, including responsibility for managing large projects and supervising all types of contracts across project stages and systems.
  • Experience in managing pressure distribution, execution, and business management; drafting and managing contracts; bid requests and evaluations; awarding; contractor performance monitoring; retrospective costing; claims and dispute resolution; and knowledge of engineering/construction contracting practices, government procurement, and commercial policies.
  • Proven ability in pricing, contract drafting, negotiations, correspondence, planning, and scheduling.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of managing major contracts, subcontracts, site execution, and related documents across disciplines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferably, experience working on a global scale, especially in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
