Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for construction projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed cost analysis.
- Manage contracts, variations, and claims in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure costs remain within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide accurate cost advice.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and assist in awarding contracts.
- Track project progress and prepare monthly valuations, interim payment applications, and final accounts.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure proper cost allocation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and local regulations.
- Provide regular cost reports and financial updates to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QS in the construction industry (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
