Contract React Native Developer Travel Domain

About Us

DPauls is a leading travel company in India offering holiday packages, flights, hotels, and cruise bookings. We are building our next-generation mobile app to deliver seamless travel booking and personalized experiences to our customers.

We are looking for an experienced React Native developer (contractual) who can not only build the app but also productionize the codebase, set up repeatable deployment pipelines, and create detailed documentation for app store enrollment and releases. The role is build + handover, ensuring our internal JavaScript team can take it forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop a cross-platform mobile app (iOS S Android) using React Native.

• Integrate with our backend APIs (Node.js, MongoDB).

• Implement key travel booking features: destination search, package listing, flight search , hotels bookings flow, payments, authentication, notifications.

• Ensure smooth performance, responsive UI, and clean design.

• Productionize the app for release: configure signing, provisioning profiles, and certificates.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments (GitHub Actions, Fastlane, Expo EAS).

• Manage enrollment and publishing on App Store Connect (iOS) and Google Play Console (Android).

• Maintain clear documentation for: app setup and configuration, deployment and release process, store publishing requirements and steps.

• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions with the internal team.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in React Native development.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with Expo (preferred) or bare RN setup.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs / GraphQL integration.

• Strong understanding of app release workflows for both iOS and Android.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or Expo EAS).

• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or others).

• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, PayU).

• Prior work in travel, booking, or e-commerce apps.

• Knowledge of OTA update solutions (CodePush / Expo Updates).

• Familiarity with analytics and monitoring (Firebase, Sentry, etc.).
