Contract Specialist

We are looking for a Contract Specialist. The role is accountable for the management of the contracts team deployed on various projects. Contract execution support is provided to the Project Management team, which acts on behalf of the client (Khafji Joint Operations, KJO) and delivers the program of projects.

The role will also involve reviewing early-stage deliverables (FEL1 and FEL2), particularly concerning procurement and contracting strategy, produced by KJO's front-end development department. The position is based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

• At least fourteen (14) years of experience in project management activities, project contract administration, procurement, communication, and contract writing skills, including at least seven (7) years in related contract activities for major oil and gas projects.
• PMC experience in a similar role for several years is preferable.
• Excellent knowledge of various contracting types and strategies related to project execution.
• Prior involvement and working knowledge of claims causes, analysis, and preventive actions.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering or business.
