Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement (CORS318)

Role Overview :

The Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative, developing one of the nation's most ambitious entertainment, culture, and tourism destinations. We are seeking a Senior Manager - Strategic Procurement to lead our procurement strategy, engaging with various stakeholders to optimize and innovate our procurement processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while driving value across our project categories. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement best practices that enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Procurement Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with the overall objectives of the Qiddiya project, focusing on cost control, quality, and timely delivery
  • Analyze market conditions and supply chain dynamics to identify sourcing opportunities and risks
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and exceeded
  • Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and terms for the organization
  • Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  • Partner with internal departments to assess their needs, translating them into procurement strategies that fulfill project requirements
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to foster collaboration and align procurement activities
  • Risk Management and Reporting
  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain, developing strategies to mitigate them and ensuring continuity of supply
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings, and supplier performance metrics to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in strategic procurement or supply chain management, with experience in large-scale projects preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiations
  • Excellent analytical abilities, capable of leveraging data to drive purchasing decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence stakeholders
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is beneficial
