We are looking for a Contract specialist who will work closely with the Contracts & Legal organization to support project management and the operations team in all contractual issues related to the execution of projects. The purpose is to ensure KONE enforcement of its contractual rights and compliance with all contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the terms of KONE's contract with the customer and the terms of any subcontract agreements related to the project.
• Enforce KONE's contractual rights and ensure compliance with contractual obligations by supporting the project team in, including:
• Issuing notices as required under the contract.
• Submitting and responding to EOT requests and other claims.
• Submitting payment applications.
• Identifying scope in line with the contract matrix.
• Preparing variation claims.
• Managing and reporting all project claims.
• Resolving disputes and mitigating potential liabilities.
• Reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence and advising the project team on any contractual or financial implications.
• Ensuring timely issuance of all relevant contractual notices in accordance with the provisions of the contract.
• Assisting the project team in maintaining complete, accurate, and organized contract files and documentation.
• Supporting the management and documentation of the snagging and handover process to protect KONE's liability position.
• Collaborating with project management and finance throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure full contractual compliance and timely submission of payment and other claims.
• Safeguarding KONE's financial interests with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Supporting preparation and submission of applications for payment and the final account; liaising and negotiating with the customer as required.
• Assisting in resolving invoice disputes to secure the maximum benefit for the project.

Are you the one?

• Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or related commercial role.
• Excellent Arabic and English language skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to take initiatives.
