Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance and best practices
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to collect and organize information required for tax filings
• Prepare financial statements and tax-related reports as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (required)
• Enrolled Agent (EA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax accounting, including tax return preparation
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, private equity, and applicable tax regulations
• Exposure to tax and accounting software, including Lacerte, ProSystems, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in technical accounting and budgeting is a plus
