Role Overview

The Upwork Bidding Specialist will be responsible for strategically identifying and securing new projects across Artema Tech's core service verticals. The role involves preparing winning proposals, managing client communications, and ensuring successful bidding strategies on Upwork, Open RFPs, and other online business forums. Success in this role directly translates to achieving our project acquisition and sales targets within key industries: Startups, Enterprises, Consulting Businesses, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Search, filter, and identify relevant project opportunities on freelance platforms and business forums covering our service areas:
  • Brand Development (Brand Strategy, Development, Content, etc.)
  • Digital Marketing (SMM, Lead Generation, Digital Campaigns, etc.)
  • Product Development (Websites, Mobile Apps, Custom AI agents, etc.)
  • Write customized, compelling proposals that clearly articulate Artema Tech’s value proposition and expertise across its entire service suite.
  • Manage the bidding strategy to maximize conversion rates, achieve targets, and efficiently manage the budget.
  • Communicate professionally with potential clients, answer technical and commercial queries, and support negotiation processes through to deal closure.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Technical teams to align proposals with current service capabilities, pricing models, and strategic messaging.
  • Track all bidding activity, maintain a robust pipeline report, and provide detailed weekly performance updates.
  • Actively work to build and maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bidding Specialist/Business Development Executive with a verifiable track record of securing projects on Upwork, Freelancer, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the modern digital landscape, covering Brand Development, Digital Marketing, and Product Development.
  • Strong proposal writing, presentation, and client handling skills.
  • Familiarity with the procurement cycles and needs of target industries: Enterprises, Consulting Firms, or Healthcare is a strong plus.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills are mandatory.
