Contracted LPN to Manage Medication Oversight for Children in Foster Care

Contracted LPN needed to coordinate a centralized medication oversight and healthcare coordination program for children in foster care. This is a remote work position with a home office, with occasional in-person meetings with the central office medication oversight team or nursing team in Salem, Oregon. This position is one of a team of 9 LPN Healthcare Coordinators who cover the state with assigned counties. This role requires a commitment to full-time hours, though hours can be flexible. Candidates must live in the Salem Oregon area.

This role will require phone and computer work. Duties include but are not limited to:

· Monthly contact with assigned resource families via email, phone, or mail when a child is on prescribed medications or has chronic health conditions

· Monthly review of medication logs for children on medications.

· Assist with psychotropic medication oversight and annual psychotropic medication reviews

·· Obtain and document yearly height and weight of children in foster care.

· Ensure initial screenings are completed according to the established Child Welfare timelines (Medical, Dental appts within 30 days and Mental Health within 60 days)

· Be a resource to caseworkers, parents, resource families, and children in foster care.

ODHS laptop and phone will be provided. Must pass a background check. Professional liability insurance is also required. Please include phone# with resume. This is a long term contracted role with no state benefits.
