Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our project management team in Tabuk, KSA. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration of prime contracts, subcontracts, and joint venture agreements from inception through closeout on mega-infrastructure or major construction programs.
You will act as the primary interface between project management, legal, procurement, and clients to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, mitigate risks, and successfully manage changes, claims, and disputes under Saudi Arabian procurement laws and international contract standards (e.g., FIDIC).
What You'll Be Doing
Contract Administration & Compliance: Manage the day-to-day administration of prime contracts and subcontracts. Ensure all project activities adhere strictly to contractual terms, corporate policies, and KSA statutory requirements.
Change Management & Variations: Oversee the variation order (VO) process. Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and process contract changes, extensions of time (EoT), and amendments. Ensure all changes are properly documented and authorized.
Claims Mitigation & Resolution: Proactively identify potential contractual risks and areas of dispute. Review, analyze, and defend or substantiate contractual claims. Prepare robust position papers and participate in dispute resolution processes.
Procurement & Tendering Support: Assist in the preparation of RFP (Request for Proposal) packages, pre-qualification of bidders, evaluation of commercial proposals, and negotiation of contract terms for new awards or subcontracts.
Financial & Progress Oversight: Collaborate with Project Controls and Quantity Surveyors to review and approve progress billings, invoices, payment certificates, and release of retention funds.
Contract Closeout: Manage the formal closeout process for all contracts, ensuring settlement of final accounts, release of performance bonds, and handover of required warranties and documentation.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the focal point for contractual correspondence with the Client, Joint Venture partners, Subcontractors, and internal legal teams.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in contract administration, commercial management, or construction law on large-scale infrastructure, mega-projects, or urban development programs.
Regional Experience: Proven track record of working within Saudi Arabia (KSA) is essential. Familiarity with the unique operational and logistics environment of the Tabuk region (or major regional gigaprojects) is highly advantageous.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or Law from an accredited institution.
Certifications: Professional certification such as MRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), CCM (Certified Construction Manager), or equivalents is highly preferred.
Contractual Expertise: Deep knowledge of FIDIC suites of contracts and KSA Government Procurement Laws.

Communication: Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent report-writing skills. Proficiency in Arabic is a significant asset for dealing with local authorities and subcontractors.
Software Proficiency: Experience utilizing contract management systems (e.g., Primavera Contract Management, Unifier, or SAP).
