Contracts Counsel – SaaS (Hybrid – Framingham, MA)

Position Summary

The Contracts Counsel will be a key member of the legal team, responsible for structuring, negotiating, and advising on complex commercial agreements. You will partner with leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance, balancing risk management with practical, business-minded solutions.

This hybrid role, based in Framingham, MA, offers a competitive base salary (starting at $125k base) plus a quarterly bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of SaaS and procurement agreements.
• Provide legal and strategic guidance to business stakeholders on contract terms, risk allocation, and compliance.
• Support vendor management and indirect procurement contracting activity.
• Develop and refine legal templates, playbooks, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Contribute to global contracting processes, including compliance with data privacy and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar admission in MA, NY, or CA.
• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (SaaS experience a must).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and contract lifecycle management tools is a plus.
