Contract Review and Administration:
- Review, analyze, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and change orders to ensure compliance with company policies and local laws.
- Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle and identify any potential issues or disputes.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements with proper back-to-back clauses.
- Collaborate with legal team to resolve contractual disputes and issues as they arise.
- Ensure that all subcontractors meet their contractual obligations, including project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure contracts are tailored to meet project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on contract-related matters to project teams, fostering a strong understanding of contractual obligations and compliance.
- Draft and issue contract related correspondences, notices and claims including EOT claims
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks associated with construction contracts.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests.
- Monitor insurance and guarantee requirements to ensure compliance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation, including correspondence, change orders, and project records.
- Generate reports and updates on contract performance, cost control, and risk management for project stakeholders and management.

Contract Compliance Rate:
- Ensure that contracts are adhered to as per the terms and conditions, with minimal deviations.
Dispute Resolution:
- Resolve contractual disputes and claims in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Risk Mitigation:
- Implement strategies to reduce the impact of risks on project outcomes.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5+ years in contracts management within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE/GCC. Experience in utility contracts / steel erection / facility management is an added advantage.
- Fair knowledge of UAE construction laws, FIDIC contracts, and international contract standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail to identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Fluent in English and good contractual letter drafting skills.
