Job summary

The Contracts Engineer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all contractual aspects of road and highway construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and optimizing contract performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Preparation and Negotiation: Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure operational needs are met while controlling risks.
  • Contract Compliance: Monitor the performance of contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms, local laws, and company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address contract-related issues and provide solutions.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of contracts and generate regular reports on contract status and issues.
  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS-Office

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in contract management within the road and highway or construction industry.
  • Education: Graduation degree in B.Tech/B.E with a specialization in Civil or a relevant field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to assess contract performance and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale road or highway projects
  • Familiarity with local regulations and standards in construction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
