The selected candidate will power our procurement strategies for EHV substations, leading sourcing efforts for superior quality and value. The role emphasizes commercial acumen, technical expertise, and collaborative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contracts procurement for 132/220 KV substations, ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing and project delivery.
- Negotiate with contractors to secure optimal terms, pricing, and business value.
- Build and manage a robust nationwide contractor database to strengthen vendor networks.
- Monitor market trends, supply dynamics, and pricing strategies to deliver financial advantage.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, regulations, and best industry practices.
- Collaborate intensively with project teams to understand and meet contracting needs efficiently.
- Assess, qualify, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications & Required Skills
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering; minimum 3–5 years of core SCM/Procurement experience in solar, EPC, or MEP contracting environments.
