Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contracts Engineer, based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Contracts Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and negotiating terms in the best interest of the company. Daily tasks include reviewing project specifications, drafting and finalizing contract documents, analyzing risks, managing contract changes, liaising with clients and vendors, and monitoring project performance to ensure adherence to contract terms.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in contract preparation, negotiation, and management
  • Strong knowledge of construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure design
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in construction projects
  • Proficiency in cost estimation, project budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and risk assessment skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Prior experience in contracts engineering within construction or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
