Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Construction

AL Hamal Trading and Contracting W.L.L. is seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
• Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare comparison reports
• Manage project costs and ensure budget control
• Handle variations, claims, and contract administration
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in construction and contracting
• Strong knowledge of QS practices, contracts, and cost control
• Experience in the Qatar/GCC market is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and relevant QS software
• Good communication and negotiation skills

Preferred:

• Arabic speaker is preferred
• Ability to handle both QS and contract engineering tasks
