Contracts Manager

Oilexec is looking for local full time Immediate joiner Contracts Manager.

Languages: Arabic & English

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Chartered status or equivalent certification (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, or CIArb) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Contractual Oversight:

Oversee and manage contracts across multiple project sites, ensuring compliance with

contractual terms, timelines, and deliverables for high-profile infrastructure projects.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate contractual risks across project sites, ensuring alignment with

project goals and minimizing exposure to disputes or liabilities.

Claims and Variations Management:

Supervise the preparation, submission, and negotiation of claims, variations, and

extensions of time, safeguarding the company’s commercial interests.

Dispute Resolution:

Lead the resolution of contractual disputes in collaboration with other stakeholders,

ensuring favourable outcomes and minimizing project disruptions.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure

seamless communication and resolution of contractual matters.

Contractual Compliance:

Ensure that all site-based operations comply with contractual obligations, industry

standards, and local regulations.

Team Leadership:

Provide direction and support to site-based contracts teams, fostering a culture of

accountability and continuous improvement in contract management practices.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in contracts/commercial management, with a proven track record of managing contracts on large-scale, multi-project construction sites.
  • Extensive experience with major roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects is essential.
  • Experience working with Public Works Authority (PWA/Ashghal) is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex contractual issues in dynamic project environments.
  • Familiarity with local construction laws, regulations, and practices

  • Effective leadership and communication skills to manage on-site contracts teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to assess and resolve contractual challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR40.00 - QAR45.00 per month
