Currie & Brown is looking for an experienced
Contracts Manager
to join our Abu Dhabi team, working on a
complex, large-scale theme park development
. This is a post-contract role within an
integrated delivery team
, working closely with the main contractor and wider stakeholders.
What will you be doing?

Take the lead on
post-contract commercial and contracts management
for a major theme park project
-
Work as part of an
integrated project team
alongside the main contractor (EllisDon) and client representatives
-
Manage the full
contract lifecycle
across approximately
45 live contracts
, ensuring compliance, performance, and risk control
-
Oversee the
procurement and commercial management of provisional sum packages
, including negotiation, award, and administration
-
Review plans, specifications, and contract documentation to ensure correct scope, materials, and subcontractor services are procured

Maintain strong
client relationships
, delivering accurate and timely commercial and contracts reports in line with client requirements

Review, draft, negotiate, and update contract terms and conditions; provide clear commercial advice to project teams

Monitor delivery schedules, progress, and supplier performance; proactively resolve contractual and commercial issues
-
Support and contribute to the development and implementation of
commercial strategies

Identify, analyse, and mitigate
commercial and contractual risks
, including those associated with complex contract terms

Provide
claims support
, including assessment, preparation, and management of claims and variations
-
Ensure all contractual obligations, deadlines, and conditions are met
-
Maintain an organised system of
physical and digital contract records
What are we looking for?
-
Proven experience as a
Contracts Manager
on large, complex projects (major mixed-use, leisure, or theme park projects preferred)
-
Strong
post-contract experience
, including administration of multiple concurrent contracts
-
Demonstrable experience managing
high-value provisional sums and complex procurement packages
-
Solid background in
claims management
and dispute avoidance/resolution

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Law, or a related discipline
-
Master’s degree in Construction Law
or equivalent is highly desirable

Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (FIDIC experience preferred)

Experience working within
integrated client–contractor teams

Confident people manager with experience leading and developing junior staff
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
