Position : Contract Manager

Education: B.E/Diploma (Civil)

Work Experience: Min 7-15 years in high-rise buildings in Contractor Firm

Job Location: Mumbai

Salary: 10-20%+ on your Current CTC (as per experience & industry standards )

The Contract Manager is responsible for managing, administering, and overseeing all contracts related to civil construction projects. This role ensures contractual compliance, cost control, risk mitigation, and smooth coordination between clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

1)Contract Administration

* Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize civil construction contracts and subcontracts

* Ensure contracts comply with legal, commercial, and company policies

* Maintain contract documentation, correspondence, and records

2)Project & Commercial Management

* Monitor contract performance, timelines, and deliverables

* Manage variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and change orders

* Evaluate and certify subcontractor bills and client RA bills

* Coordinate with Quantity Surveying, Planning, and Site teams

3) Cost Control & Claims

* Identify contractual risks and opportunities

* Prepare, submit, and defend claims and counterclaims

* Monitor cost impact of scope changes and delays

* Assist in dispute resolution, arbitration, or negotiations

4)Compliance & Risk Management

* Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and statutory requirements

* Identify contract-related risks and recommend mitigation measures

* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental clauses

5)Coordination & Communication

* Act as the main contractual interface with clients, consultants, and vendors

* Support tendering and bidding by reviewing contract conditions

* Provide contractual guidance to project managers and site engineers
