Job Purpose:

Temporary (6-month fixed term contract, with potential extension based on individual performance and business need)


As a Contracts Manager for the Gulf region, you will play a critical role in ensuring contractual agreements align with our business goals, operational needs, and compliance standards. This position offers you the opportunity to contribute to healthcare innovation while growing within our purpose-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Contracts Manager, you will lead crucial activities that directly impact GSK’s operations and objectives. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensuring contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align contracts with organizational goals.
  • Proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring contract performance.
  • Providing training and guidance on contract management processes to internal teams.
  • Driving process improvements to optimize contract efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in contract management or a similar function.
  • Solid understanding of contract law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management software/tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
Although not required, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with Gulf region regulations and business practices.
  • Certification in contract management or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.

Work Environment:
This role is based on-site at our Dubai, UAE office.
