Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Specialist with a strong background in construction contracts to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing all project-related contractual documentation, ensuring strict compliance with UAE laws, company policies, and international standards such as FIDIC. This role requires strong legal and commercial acumen, with the ability to protect the company’s interests throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and legal agreements in line with UAE laws and company policies.
  • Provide contractual and legal support to project, procurement, and management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and proactively identify risks, claims, or disputes.
  • Maintain organized and comprehensive records of contractual correspondence, variations, approvals, and amendments.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel for dispute resolution, claims, or arbitration matters.
  • Prepare, review, and support documentation for claims, variations, and change orders with appropriate contractual justification.
  • Support tendering and bidding processes by analyzing contract terms and conditions.
  • Advise management and project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor contract milestones and ensure timely renewals, extensions, and terminations based on project and company requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (Legal background preferred).
  • 5–8 years of proven experience as a Contracts Administrator/Specialist within the UAE construction or contracting industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Civil Code, FIDIC contract conditions, and construction law.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
