Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems (PID, adaptive, model-based) for target tracking and stabilization platforms.

Develop and implement real-time control algorithms for electro-optical systems, ensuring high precision and smooth operation.
-
Create mathematical models and simulations to predict performance and refine control strategies in dynamic environments.

Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate control systems with sensors (IMU, gyroscopes, accelerometers) and actuators.
-
Conduct system tuning, validation, and optimization to meet stability, accuracy, and response time targets.
-
Test, troubleshoot, and document control algorithms in both lab and field environments to ensure performance and reproducibility.

Create and deliver technical papers, reports, and proposals to internal and external stakeholders.

Support laboratory testing and qualification efforts for optical systems and sensor products.

Develop test plans, collect and analyze data, and document results.
-
Assist business development by conducting market studies, evaluating emerging technologies in optical sensor systems, and providing recommendations.

Provide mentorship, technical oversight, and task delegation as needed.
Requirements
-
Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a focus on gimbal stabilization.

Strong understanding of control theory and control system design (PID, state-space, adaptive control) and model-based approaches for dynamic systems.

Experience designing control algorithms for stabilization and tracking systems, such as gimbals and optical platforms.

Hands-on experience implementing real-time control algorithms in embedded systems, PLCs, or DSPs.
-
Proficiency in system modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink.
-
Knowledge of C, C++ for embedded system development is a plus.
-
Experience working with sensors (gyroscopes, accelerometers, etc.) and actuators used in target tracking and stabilization.

Expertise in testing, tuning, and validating control systems for high-precision applications in dynamic environments.
