MAIN OBJECTIVES

  • To support the airline's corporate communications by delivering timely, accurate, and brand-aligned internal and external messaging—strengthening reputation, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring consistent communication across media, digital channels, and employee platforms, including during operational updates and issues.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Draft and edit press releases, corporate news, executive messages, speeches, talking points, Q&As, FAQs, and briefing notes aligned with the airline's tone and brand.

  • Prepare customer-facing and corporate updates for flight disruptions, diversions, delays, safety/service incidents and major operational changes.

  • Support media enquiries, coordinate interviews, prepare media packs, maintain media lists, and assist with press briefings; log and track responses and deadlines.

  • Write and publish staff updates on the intranet/, support HR/leadership communications, and ensure frontline teams receive clear operational and service messages.

  • Coordinate corporate channel content (LinkedIn/X/IG where applicable), support content calendar management, community management/escalation, and prepare post copy and visual briefs.

  • Support crisis readiness through holding statements, message maps, reactive Q&As, stakeholder lines, and rapid approval workflows; monitor issues and escalate reputational risks.

  • Coordinate communications with airports, regulators, codeshare/alliances, tourism boards, and suppliers—ensuring aligned announcements and approvals.

  • Support communications for route launches, partnerships/MoUs, awards, milestones, inaugurations, and corporate events—before, during, and after execution.

  • Ensure messaging follows brand guidelines and regulatory/compliance requirements; maintain templates, style guide, and translation consistency (EN/AR as needed).

  • Track media coverage and social performance, support sentiment monitoring, compile daily/weekly reports, and capture post-campaign learnings.

  • Brief and manage copywriting/PR/creative agencies for press releases, campaigns, and assets; review outputs for accuracy and tone.

  • Manage approvals, version control, distribution lists, media asset libraries, and communication logs for auditability and continuity.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, branding, or communications roles.
