Controlling - Reporting and Execution Specialist

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute month-end and quarter-end activities: accruals, provisions, WIP review, and IFRS 15 revenue recognition and prepare Actuals reporting including P&L, Gross Margin walk, and KPIs (Orders, Revenue, Margin). Ensure accuracy of SAP FI/CO and PS/PM data and timely reporting uploads.
  • Develop bottom up forecasts for revenue, margin, costs, and cashflow. Contribute to Rolling Forecast and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) cycles. Maintain a structured risk & opportunity register.
  • Execute all commercial tasks in accordance with project agreements, IFRS 15, LoA, FRG, and internal governance frameworks. Manage project accounting, forecasting (revenues, margins, cash), cost controlling, and risk and opportunity assessments. Monitor costs-to-complete, risks & opportunities, and cash-flow performance and escalate financial risks and deviations in timely manner
  • Drive milestone billing, variation orders, supplier claim evaluations, and financial documentation. Ensure proper management of bonds, guarantees, insurances, and foreign currency exposure and timely closing of Projects/Sales Orders and Supplier PO’s’.
  • Engage with customer commercial representatives to resolve financial issues. Collaborate cross functionally with PM, Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, and Finance teams.
  • Track invoicing progress, collections, and down payments, support reduction of GR/IR and WIP aging and help improve DSO and ensure timely milestone billing. Perform detailed variance analysis against Forecast, Budget (AOP), and Prior Year and clearly explain the root causes and corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to Siemens Energy FRG, Delegation of Authority, IFRS 15 guidelines, and internal control frameworks, maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits and promote compliance and transparency in financial processes. Escalate deviations proactively.

What You Bring

  • ACCA, ACA (completed or in progress) with 3–5 years of experience in commercial, finance, controlling or similar role.
  • Exposure to multi-functional and international project environments and strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and financial closing processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and PS/PM modules and has an exposure to S/4HANA or automation tools with advanced skills in Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and data analytics and project management.Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret complex financial data, perform cost analyses, and support decision‑making through data‑driven insights.
  • Ability to communicate complex commercial and financial topics in a clear, structured, and concise manner to internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., PM, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal), fostering strong collaboration to achieve project objectives.
  • Proven track record of taking full ownership of assigned tasks, addressing issues proactively, and implementing effective solutions with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to strictly follow compliance guidelines, maintain audit‑ready documentation, and ensure accuracy across financial and contractual processes.
