Controls Engineering Supervisor

Location: Lancaster, Ohio, USA

Compensation: $130,000 $140,000 USD

Lead and supervise controls engineering activities within a manufacturing environment. Responsible for managing a team, overseeing automation projects, and ensuring efficient, reliable, and compliant control systems.

• Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers
• Manage automation projects (timelines, budgets, resources)
• Oversee design, programming, and commissioning of control systems
• Integrate and support PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot complex control system issues and minimize downtime
• Drive continuous improvement and system optimization
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls, or related field
• 5+ years of controls engineering experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
• Experience with HMI and SCADA systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience with robotics, motion control, or industrial networks
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and panel design
