Controls Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design and implement control systems for advanced machinery. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in PLC programming and electrical design to create efficient and reliable automated solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our products.

• Architect and implement machine control systems, balancing cost-effectiveness with optimal performance.
• Design electrical layouts, ensuring efficient use of space and adherence to safety standards.
• Develop PLC and HMI programs to ensure seamless machine operation and integrate safety protocols.
• Evaluate design options, providing detailed specifications and documentation to maintain project timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs and ensure seamless integration.
• Generate and maintain documentation for approvals, including drawings and technical reports.
• Support production teams during assembly, startup, and testing phases.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automation or machine design.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc) and HMI software.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EPlan.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Knowledge of pneumatics troubleshooting.
