Job Description – Conventional Machinist

• Operates conventional machines such as lathe, milling, drilling, and grinding machines.
• Reads and interprets technical drawings and specifications.
• Measures, cuts, shapes, and finishes metal parts to required tolerances.
• Performs machine setup, tool selection, and basic adjustments.
• Conducts routine maintenance and ensures machines operate safely and efficiently.
• Inspects finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Maintains accuracy, quality, and safety standards in daily operations.
