Location: Serving Morgan County

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

$5,000 Sign-On / Retention Bonus
Available for eligible external candidates who are master’s-level and fully licensed (LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW)

This is a newly created position driven by growth within our Recovery Services team—offering a unique opportunity to expand access to care for justice‑involved individuals in Morgan County.

As a Co‑Occurring Disorder Therapist, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team delivering person‑centered, strengths‑based care. Your work will help reduce barriers to stability, support long‑term recovery, and promote successful community reintegration.

This position includes Caseload Service Group (CSG) expectations, with the opportunity to earn quarterly incentive payments upon meeting established benchmarks—on top of base compensation.

Who You’ll Serve

You’ll primarily support individuals who:

  • Are justice involved, including those incarcerated, recently released, or under probation/parole supervision
  • Are living with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Face complex challenges related to housing, employment, community support, and recovery

What You’ll Do

  • Provide compassionate, high‑quality mental health and substance use therapy using evidence‑based practices
  • Deliver co‑occurring disorder services to justice‑involved and jail‑based populations within a coordinated ACT team‑based model
  • Complete psychosocial assessments and develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate closely with criminal justice partners, including probation, parole, correctional staff, courts, and community providers
  • Support crisis intervention efforts, including assessment and coordination of appropriate services
  • Educate individuals and families on mental health symptoms, substance use, medications, and recovery strategies
  • Assist individuals in accessing community resources such as housing, employment, education, and supportive services
  • Maintain CSG productivity expectations, with eligibility for quarterly incentive compensation
  • Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation using collaborative documentation practices
  • Provide telehealth services as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
  • Active Illinois licensure: LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW

Preferred Qualifications

  • Co‑Occurring Disorder credential
  • Prior experience working with criminal justice or jail‑based populations
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills

Compensation & Incentives

Base Salary (Based on Licensure & Experience)

  • LPC or LSW: $61,000 – $64,000/year
  • LCPC or LCSW: $68,000 – $72,000/year

Sign-On / Retention Bonus

  • $5,000 for eligible, fully licensed external candidates

CSG Incentives

  • Quarterly incentive compensation available upon meeting established CSG benchmarks
