About Us:

We are an independent specialty coffee shop dedicated to providing high-quality food and coffee in a welcoming and community-driven atmosphere. To support our growth, we are looking for a motivated Cook with some commercial barista experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items in line with our menu and quality standards.
• Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist in barista duties, including preparing espresso-based drinks and handling customer orders.
• Monitor stock levels and support in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Follow food safety, health, and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

• Must be currently on own visa (family, spouse, or freelance sponsorship).
• Minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience in a café, bistro, or casual dining environment.
• Basic experience as a commercial barista (espresso machine handling, coffee preparation).
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
