Food Preparation

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and marinating.
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Ensure meals are cooked to the correct specifications and meet quality standards,

Cooking Duties

  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and stovetops.
  • Cook and present dishes in an appealing, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Adjust cooking techniques based on special requests, dietary needs, or food sensitivities.

Kitchen Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment in compliance with food safety guidelines.
  • Wash utensils, cooking tools, and work surfaces.
  • Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling protocols.

Food Safety and Hygiene

  • Monitor food storage temperatures and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO: First In, First Out).
  • Adhere to sanitation and health regulations, including handwashing and avoiding cross-contamination.
  • Report spoiled or low-quality ingredients to management.

Inventory and Supplies

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Notify the kitchen supervisor of shortages in food and supplies.
  • Properly store and label food items for freshness.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff, including chefs, sous chefs, and dishwashers.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
  • Train new team members on kitchen operations and safety procedures when required.

Time Management

  • Manage cooking timelines to ensure dishes are prepared efficiently during busy hours.
  • Prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously.

Quality Assurance

  • Taste and inspect dishes before serving to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Follow presentation standards to ensure visually appealing meals.

Customer Service

  • Address customer concerns or complaints related to food quality.
  • Adapt dishes to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.

Special Projects and Tasks

  • Assist with menu development and testing new recipes.
  • Participate in kitchen deep-cleaning projects.
  • Support management in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
