Cook – Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Measure, portion, and assemble ingredients accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before serving
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory control and proper storage of food supplies
- Minimize food waste by following portion control and storage guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
