Join our team as a Bar & Grill Cook, where your passion for great food and fast-paced service will shine. In this role, you’ll prepare and cook a variety of menu items in a lively bar and grill environment, ensuring every dish meets our standards for quality, taste, and presentation. As a key part of the kitchen team, you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests by delivering consistently excellent food while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, wings, sandwiches, appetizers, and grilled specialties according to recipes and standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring readiness for service
• Maintain proper food handling and sanitation practices in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Operate kitchen equipment including grills, fryers, ovens, and prep tools safely and efficiently
• Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, marinating, and assembling ingredients
• Ensure timely ticket completion during busy service periods while maintaining food quality
• Keep kitchen areas clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout shifts
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, rotating stock, and minimizing food waste

Skills

• Previous experience as a line cook, grill cook, or in a bar and grill environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, especially grilling and frying
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
• Good knife skills and experience with food preparation
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
