Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items with precision, utilizing proper knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure quality and consistency
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards in both fine dining and casual settings
• Handle food safely by following strict hygiene practices, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation guidelines
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery to meet event schedules
• Contribute to the food preparation process by chopping, assembling, plating, and garnishing dishes with attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils to uphold health regulations and safety standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
• Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service with a focus on food safety and handling
• Strong knowledge of menu planning and meal assembly in diverse settings such as healthcare facilities or fine dining establishments
• Demonstrated culinary skills including knife proficiency and food presentation techniques
• Experience in the food industry with an understanding of kitchen operations and food service workflows
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
