Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in menu planning and fine dining. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our clients while ensuring food safety standards are strictly adhered to.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to create innovative menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the management of kitchen operations, including inventory control and maintaining cleanliness.
  • Support the Dietary department in providing nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain a well-organized kitchen environment, ensuring all cooking stations are clean and stocked.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role, preferably in fine dining or catering settings.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Experience with menu planning and food preparation techniques.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
