Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, ensuring adherence to recipes and dietary guidelines
• Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to meet nutritional and taste standards
• Handle food with care, following proper food safety and sanitation protocols
• Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Support catering events, including setup, serving, and cleanup
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery
• Demonstrate proficiency in knife skills, food presentation, and portion control
• Assist with food handling procedures to meet health regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
• Experience in fine dining, restaurant service, or the food industry is highly desirable
• Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food safety practices
• Strong culinary skills including cooking techniques, food handling, and knife skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to various roles within the kitchen or dining setting
• Food industry experience or culinary training is a plus
