FOH Staff – Bagels R Us

Pay: $14–$17/hour

Schedule: Morning & weekend availability required

Position Overview

As a Front of House team member, you’ll be the face of Bagels R Us—greeting guests, preparing orders, and ensuring every customer leaves happy. Team Leads will take on additional responsibilities in supporting daily operations and guiding the team during shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately at the counter or register
• Prepare and assemble bagel sandwiches, toasted bagels, and specialty orders to guest specifications
• Operate POS system, handle cash/card transactions, and process orders efficiently
• Slice, toast, and prepare bagels with spreads, toppings, and accompaniments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front counter and dining area
• Restock display cases, condiment stations, and beverage areas throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, allergen, and sanitation protocols
• Handle customer questions, special requests, and concerns with professionalism
• Communicate order needs and low-stock items to kitchen and management
• Support team members during high-volume rushes to ensure fast, accurate service

Team Lead Responsibilities (Additional)

• Oversee shift flow and ensure smooth daily operations
• Support training and coaching of team members
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Assist with opening/closing duties and cash handling procedures
• Act as point of contact for team questions and customer escalations

Requirements

• Previous customer service or food service experience preferred (not required—we’ll train the right person)
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning shifts
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
