Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items efficiently during morning and evening shifts, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
• Handle cashier duties including cash handling, food sales, upselling menu items, and providing friendly customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the restaurant remains organized and welcoming.
• Manage time effectively to meet service demands during busy hours while maintaining high standards of food preparation.
• Support team members with food industry best practices, including food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures.

Experience

• Prior experience in fast-paced food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred.
• Proven culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques across various cuisines.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math for retail transactions is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Previous restaurant or café experience demonstrating excellent serving skills and teamwork in a busy setting.
