Cook/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook Cashier to join our culinary team. This role combines food preparation and cooking with customer service responsibilities, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, menu execution, and excellent communication skills to efficiently manage both kitchen operations and cashier duties.

Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.
• Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dining occasions, including catering events.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing knife skills and other culinary techniques.
• Serve customers at the cashier station, accurately processing transactions and providing friendly customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in both the kitchen and serving areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times.
• Support team members in meal assembly, plating, and delivery to ensure timely service.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant operations, or the food industry is preferred.
• Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus.
• Skills in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food handling are highly desirable.
• Experience with fine dining service or catering environments will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, knife skills, and meal preparation techniques is essential.
