Cook/Prep/Dishwasher

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering delicious, quality-focused meals to our guests. Ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, eager to develop culinary skills, or well versed in food service. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

We are open Wednesday through Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and cooking of menu items, following established recipes and safety standards.
• Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely meal assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including dishwashing duties and proper food handling practices.
• Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages or issues.
• Follow all food safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Support catering events and special functions by preparing and serving food as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or culinary environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic cooking techniques.
• Proficient knife skills and experience with prep are highly desirable.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and most importantly a calm demeanor.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.

Amount of hours can be discussed in interview based on your experience otherwise we start low and work our way up to full-time.
